Considered by many to be one of the best pound for pound no gi submission grapplers in the world, Garcia is a black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu under Fabio Gurgel of Team Alliance.

Marcelo Garcia is a 4-time Mundials (World) and 3-time ADCC Champion, been awarded the most technical fighter twice (2003 and 2007) and won the best fight award in 2005. In September 2008, Marcelo opened up a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu school in Pembroke Pines, a city in South Florida located between Miami and Ft. Lauderdale. In September 2009, Marcelo opened an academy in New York City where he personally teaches every class.

Let me start by saying the site is $25 a month for a membership. In my experience it has been well worth it and I know a lot of other people would agree with me. There are nearly 5,000 videos to watch. You can pick between no gi, gi, positions, escapes, sweeps, submissions, etc. Most of the videos are taken from his actual classes, so you know it’s the same techniques hes teaching to his own guys. Some of the funnest videos to watch on the site are of Marcelo rolling. A lot of people visit his gym to get a chance to roll with him. A few of the techniques I really enjoyed watching and have added to my own game are his butterfly game, xguard, 2 on 1, elbow push and guillotines. Definitely a highly recommended website for anybody looking to put a new twist on there jiu jitsu game.
